Braindead aka Dead Alive (1992) is a cult zombie horror directed by famous Peter Jackson (The Lord of the Rings trilogy).
Plot: Mother of the main character, young shy man Lionel Cosgrove, is bitten by Sumatran rat-monkey. She is slowly turning into a zombie. Lionel has to care about her and other infected people.
